23 Sicurezza, energia e ambiente Nel 2009 sono stati ulteriormente aumentati gli investimenti in sicurezza sul lavoro, volti a interventi strutturali e formazione specifi ca, raggiungendo importanti risultati in tutti i settori aziendali. Particolarmente effi cace il programma di segnalazione dei cosiddetti near misses, cioè degli eventi che avrebbero potuto generare un infortunio, grazie al coinvolgimento determinante dei dipendenti. Sempre in tema di sicurezza sono stati inseriti defi brillatori in tutta l'azienda. L'impegno di Ferrari sul piano della sostenibilità ambientale risale al 2001, quando ha ottenuto la certifi cazione ISO 14001, riconfermata anche nel 2009; nel 2007 ha poi ottenuto l'Autorizzazione Integrata Ambientale. Varato nel 2008 il piano energetico di autoproduzione che, attraverso un impianto fotovoltaico e un impianto di trigenerazione (un sistema di produzione congiunta di energia elettrica, termica e frigorifera) permetterà a Ferrari di raggiungere la quasi totale indipendenza energetica, e di ridurre le emissioni di Co 2 di circa il 35%. Negli ultimi anni sono inoltre stati effettuati numerosi investimenti per aumentare le aree verdi, sia interne che esterne ai vari padiglioni industriali, che oggi coprono una superfi cie di circa 165.000 m 2 . These investments have already yielded signifi cant results. The near-misses reporting scheme has proved particularly effective, thanks to the direct involvement of the employees themselves. Defi brillators have now also been installed throughout the company. Ferrari's commitment to environmental sustainability dates back to 2001 when it was awarded ISO 14001 certifi cation, reconfi rmed in 2009. Maranello also obtained an Integrated Environmental Authorisation in 2007. Ferrari launched an ambitious energy self-suffi ciency programme in 2008. Thanks to a newly installed photovoltaic system and a trigeneration plant, which will be operational in 2009, Ferrari will be fully energy self-suffi cient in 2010 and will have cut its CO 2 emissions by around 35%. Over the last few years, Ferrari has also made numerous investments to increase the size and number of green areas both inside and outside its various industrial pavilions. The complex now boasts around 165,000 square metres of green areas with more than 200 trees planted in the last six months of 2008 only.
