73 Luca Badoer Luca Badoer è nato a Montebelluna (Italia) il 25 gennaio 1971. Ha debuttato nelle competizioni motoristiche all'età di 14 anni, vincendo due gare e classifi candosi terzo nel Campionato Italiano Cadetti di kart. Dopo cinque stagioni di vittorie, è passato alle monoposto di F3 nel Campionato Italiano del 1990: nella prima stagione ha vinto la gara di Vallelunga, nel 1991 ne ha vinte quattro, piazzandosi quarto su 50 concorrenti nella classifi ca tricolore. He won two races and ranked third in the Junior Italian Go Kart Championship. After fi ve victorious seasons, he began racing F3 cars in the 1990 Italian Championship. In his fi rst season, Luca won the Vallelunga race and in 1991 four more races, fi nishing fourth out of 50 participants in the Italian Championship. The turning point in his career came in 1992 when he won the Formula 3000 Intercontinental title with four victories and fi ve pole positions. Badoer took part in 51 Formula 1 Grands Prix, having debuted in the South African Grand Prix in 1993 in a Scuderia Italia Lola-Ferrari. In 2009 he made his Formula 1 debut with Ferrari, replacing Felipe Massa for 2 races at the wheel of car number three. 2010 is his 13 th season as test driver for the Scuderia. Arriva a Maranello come collaudatore il 22 novembre 2004, esordendo in pista fi n dal giorno successivo, a Barcellona, al volante di una F2004. The following year he won the Catalunya and Spanish (National class) Kart Championships. In 1990, he became the youngest driver ever to win the Senior class of the Spanish Karting Championship. In 1991 Gené also won the Catalan title in the same class. In 1994 and 1995, Gené took part in the British Formula 3 Championships and in 1996 won the II Golden Cup FISA Superformula. In 1997, he raced in the International F3000 Championship. Marc Gené's fi rst outing in the Formula 1 World Championship was in 1999, for Minardi. He raced the following year for the same team too. In 2001, he became a test-driver for the BMW-Williams team, a position he held until 2004. He competed in three races for the Anglo-German team (Italy 2003, France and Great Britain 2004). The Spaniard came to Maranello as a test-driver on November 22nd 2004, making his track debut the following day in Barcelona at the wheel of an F2004. Marc Gené has a degree in Economics. His hobbies are reading and cinema. He also enjoys several sports, including swimming, tennis, mountain biking and diving. In 2009 he achieved the most prestigious success in his carreer winning the 24hrs of Le Mans with Peugeot. This is his sixth season as a Ferrari test-driver.
