74 Le statistiche La Ferrari è l'unico costruttore di automobili che abbia preso parte a tutte le edizioni del Campionato del Mondo Piloti (comunemente defi nito di Formula 1) a partire dalla sua creazione, nel 1950. Per molti anni è stato l'unico team a realizzare per intero le sue monoposto: telaio, motore, cambio, sospensioni. A tutto il 2009 la Ferrari ha conquistato 15 titoli mondiali Piloti e 16 Costruttori e detiene i record di vittorie (210), di pole position (203) e giri più veloci in gara (219). In Formula 1 hanno guidato uffi cialmente per la Ferrari 70 piloti, 36 dei quali hanno vinto almeno un Gran Premio. Va sottolineato come il Mondiale Costruttori (che in realtà ha avuto denominazioni differenti) sia stato istituito soltanto nel 1958. Se fosse esistito contestualmente a quello Piloti, la Ferrari lo avrebbe vinto anche nel 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954 e 1956.
