108 FXX Programme Destinato dal 2006 ad un selezionato gruppo di clienti e basato sulla vettura-laboratorio FXX, tra le espressioni più avanzate di Gran Turismo create a Maranello, l'omonimo programma di collaborazione comprende la partecipazione ad un pacchetto di eventi su scala mondiale, nei quali un team uffi ciale di tecnici assiste uno speciale e ristretto gruppo di Clienti-Collaudatori attraverso sessioni di prove in pista e briefi ng improntati sulla sofi sticata telemetria. Grazie all'applicazione di un kit specifi co, frutto delle indicazioni raccolte, questo ambizioso progetto è stato esteso al biennio 2008/2009 ed oggi prosegue il suo cammino accanto all'innovativo 599XX Programme. FXX Programme Offered since 2006 to a highly select group of clients and built around the eponymous "technological laboratory" prototype, one of the most advanced Gran Turismo models created in Maranello, the eponymous programme also consists of a package of events spread across the globe at which an offi cial team of technicians provides assistance to a small and highly select group of Owner-Test Drivers, through on-track testing sessions and debriefs, based on sophisticated telemetry data. Thanks to a special kit developed on the basis of the feedback and data gathered over its fi rst two years, this ambitious project was extended to 2008/2009 and now runs alongside the innovative 599XX programme. Caratteristiche tecniche La FXX nasce dal know-how che la Ferrari ha maturato con i modelli speciali e le gare, costituendo la base sulla quale costruire le specifi che dei futuri modelli estremi. È caratterizzata da prestazioni di altissimo livello, raggiungendo valori di assoluta eccellenza. La FXX adotta infatti un motore V12 di 6262 cm 3 in grado di erogare ora 860 CV a 8500 giri/ min. Il cambio è stato sviluppato sulla base di un trasferimento delle strategie derivate dalla F1, con un tempo di cambiata inferiore ridotto a 60 ms.a 100 ms., quasi equivalenti a quelli delle monoposto, che rappresentano il massimo della tecnologia oggi disponibile. Il peso a secco della vettura è di 1155 kg, con un rapporto peso/potenza pari a 1,44 kg/CV. A dimostrazione dei progressi raggiunti con il nuovo pacchetto c'è il tempo sul giro a Fiorano, adesso inferiore a 1'16". L'effi cienza aerodinamica è stata migliorata del 25%, grazie all'introduzione di nuove ali posteriori, di un nuovo nolder e di un profi lo estrattore aggiornato. La sospensione anteriore è stata modifi cata ed è stato migliorato l'impianto frenante Brembo, dotato dei dischi in Composite Ceramic Material (CCM). Gli pneumatici Bridgestone da 19" sono stati sviluppati specifi catamente per questa vettura così come il sistema di telemetria, con 40 canali di acquisizione dati. Il nuovo di sistema di controllo elettronico della trazione, sviluppato insieme ai tecnici della GeS sulla base delle indicazioni dei piloti-collaudatori, prevedere nove impostazioni, controllate da un manettino posto sul tunnel, che permettono di variare il comportamento della FXX ad ogni curva, così come avviene in Formula 1. Technical characteristics The FXX is the fruit of the knowledge and experience built up by Ferrari through its special models and competition, and provides a base on which to develop the specifi cations of the extreme models of the future. Characterised by benchmark performance levels, the FXX is powered by a 6262 cm 3 V12 engine that delivers a massive 860 CV at 8,500 rpm. Its gearbox was designed using F1- derived strategies and delivers gear-shifting times of just 60 ms, very close to those of our single-seaters, themselves the very pinnacle of modern technical achievement. The FXX has a dry weight of 1,155 kg with a power-weight ratio of 1.44 kg/CV. When fi tted with the new evolution package, the FXX now delivers a lap time at Fiorano of under 1'16". The car's aerodynamic effi ciency has been improved by 25% by the addition of new rear fl aps, a new nolder and a modifi ed diffuser profi le. The front suspension has also been improved upon as have the Brembo brakes which feature carbon ceramic material (CCM) discs. The FXX's 19" Bridgestone tyres and sophisticated 40-channel telemetry system were both designed specifi cally with it in mind. The new electronic traction control system, developed in close collaboration with Ferrari's GES engineers and using feedback from the drivers themselves, offers nine different settings (selected using a switch on the central tunnel). This means that the driver can modify the car's behaviour on the track from corner to corner, just as F1 drivers do to maximise performance.
